Step 4 - Setup the site widgets

All the pages on the site other than the the home page have the option of inserting widgets into the right hand sidebar - shown in green.

These are configured in the following site templates

• Text page template
• Contact page template

Baby step 1 - Write down the widget page ID's

Before you can configure the widgets in each of the site templates, you're going to need to know the page ID for each of the two widgets (you can add more widgets yourself at a later stage if you wish)

Select the 'Properties' tab - shown in red - on the 'Contact Us' widget page - shown in blue.

Write down the page ID - shown in green

Then repeat this process for the other widget page 'Featured'

Baby step 2 - Update the template widgets

Go to the 'text page' template - shown in green which can be found in the settings section - shown in red.

Don't worry, you don't need to do any coding...

In the right hand code window, scroll down until you find the two sidebar widgets

Update the page id's - shown in blue - with the numbers you wrote down earlier (be careful not to delete either of the quotes).

Save the page

Repeat this process for the 'Contact page' template - shown in orange (note this template only has the contact widget to update)

Save the page

If you view your site in a browser, you should now see the widgets as shown in the top diagram.
