How to move an Umbraco page

To move an Umbraco page right click on the page to move.

A dialog will be shown. Select the page you want to be the parent - shown in green -  of the page you want to move i.e the moved page will become a child of what you select here.

Looking at the sitetree you can see the page has been moved.

Note: the move command can only move pages into different parts of the site. It cannot re-arrange the order of the pages in the current section. To do that you need to use the 'Sort' option.

Looking at the live page, you might be surprised that when you hover over 'Getting started' the page you just moved is not shown. This is because the top navigation on this site doesn't support level two pages (With a little bit of development this can easily be changed)

However, the page is shown at the bottom of the page - in green. This is being generated by a plugin which has been inserted beneath the page content area
